Wicked is the touring production of the Broadway musical that tells the untold story of the witches from The Wizard of Oz, centering on the friendship and rivalry between Elphaba and Glinda. With music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz and a book by Winnie Holzman, the show is noted for its large-scale staging, special effects and songs such as “Defying Gravity.” The touring company performs at the Boston Opera House, bringing the Broadway spectacle to Boston audiences.
