  • What sanitation steps is the Seaport Hotel implementing prior to reopening?

    We have been hard at work discussing and implementing plans in conjunction with recommendations by global and local public health authorities. Some of the steps we are taking include:
    • Team members will be required to wear masks.
    • Social distancing of 6 ft. will be required with guest and team member interactions, including during the check-in and check-out process.
    • Team members have been trained on enhanced hygiene and safety protocols.
    • Temperature checks will be performed at check-in at our main entrance on Seaport Lane, and masks are available should you need one.
    • The hotel's schedule of cleaning and sanitizing has been enhanced; this includes all public areas including doorknobs, door frames, handles & railings, elevators and other common touchpoints.

  • How will my stay at the Seaport Hotel be different once it reopens?

    Seaport’s team members have all been trained on enhanced hygiene and safety protocols; all will be wearing masks and following social distancing guidelines. Upon arrival, guests’ temperatures will be checked and masks will be available if you need one. Guests will find protective glass at the Registration Desk and Concierge Desk for safety. For the safety of guests and team members, valet parking services will not be available however convenient self-parking in our attached underground garage is available. The hotel will have a single point of entry and exit (our main entrance at One Seaport Lane).


    Guest rooms will be vacant for 24 hours after a guest checks out. Thorough guestroom sanitization plans, over and above our current AAA award-winning standards, have been implemented. Guests will find in-room hand sanitizer and disinfecting wipes in the guest room, and a non-contact door opener will be given at check-in. Daily housekeeping services will not be provided to occupied rooms; services, including towel requests and trash removal, may be requested by phone or text and products fully sanitized. The air circulating in guest rooms will be sanitized by UVC lighting and the maximum mixture of fresh air. The TV remote has been sanitized by an in-room UVC lightbox, which is available for guest use as well. Guests may refer to their in-room TV for details on products and services available.


    Initially, the Seaport Café will service all meal periods, 6 am - 7 pm (Aura restaurant and TAMO Bistro + Bar will remain closed). A limited selection of beer & wine is available; for in-room consumption, guests are asked to please pick up at the Seaport Café. Protective equipment will be worn by all restaurant team members and protective glass installed at counter service for safety.


    When Wave Health & Fitness reopens, protective glass will be installed at the check-in desk and protective equipment will be worn by all Wave team members. Equipment will be properly spaced for social distancing and advanced scheduling will be required for access to limit total simultaneous capacity in both pool and workout facilities.

  • What restaurants will be opening when the Seaport Hotel opens?

    Initially, guests will be able to enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner from the Seaport Café, located on the lobby level of the hotel. TAMO Bistro + Bar, as well as Aura restaurant, will remain closed. Please check our website for updates. A number of local restaurants within walking distance of the hotel are offering a variety of dining options; please contact our Concierge for updates.
  • Is the Seaport Garage open?

    The Seaport Garage has remained open this spring and continues to be open for visitors and guests. Whereas valet parking will not be provided at the Seaport Hotel initially upon reopening, guests are encouraged to park in the Seaport Garage.   • What is there to see & do in Boston this summer? Is anything open?

    Yes, there are plenty of things to see & do in Boston this summer! The Freedom Trail (link - is open for exploring, as is the Boston Harborwalk (, which is adjacent to the Seaport Hotel. The Rose Kennedy Greenway ( is a short walk from the hotel. Seaport guests can enjoy a round of golf at Granite Links ( – please contact our Concierge for a tee time. Seaport’s complimentary bicycles are available and are disinfected between uses. Museums and other attractions are following the state’s reopening protocol in terms of determining their reopening time, and updates will be provided here.

  • Am I able to check in early?

    While we cannot guarantee your room or suite will be ready for an early arrival, if you arrive prior to 3pm and a room is available, we will be happy to check you in. If we do not have room ready upon your arrival, we can store your luggage for you while you wait.
  • Is the Seaport Hotel pet friendly?

    Yes. The Seaport is a pet-friendly hotel and we welcome pets under 25 lbs. Our rooms are spacious and there are plenty of walking areas and parks right outside. There is a $100 non-refundable cleaning fee required at check-in as well as a pet policy waiver. For more information, contact us directly at 617-385-4000.

  • Can I request a rollaway bed, fan, or microwave to be put in my room prior to arrival?

    Yes, rollaway beds, fans and microwaves are complimentary upon request on a first-come-first-served basis. We are unable to place rollaway beds in our Deluxe and Premier rooms with 2 double beds.
  • Do you offer incoming and outgoing shipping services at the hotel?

    Yes, we are happy to accept any outgoing FedEx or UPS packages for hotel guests. Should you wish to have something shipped to you at the hotel the best shipping address is:

  • Does the hotel offer laundry service?

    We do offer laundry service at the Seaport Hotel. Items collected by 9am and will be returned to your room by 5pm the same day. Items collected after 9am will be returned by 5pm the following day. Please contact us for current pricing.
  • Are bike rentals available?

    We do offer complimentary bikes in season and helmets for guests of the hotel on a first come first serve basis. We also have a Hubway Station conveniently located just steps from the hotel entrance on Congress Street.
  • Do you have wheelchairs available for guest use?

    We would be happy to put you in contact with a number of companies that rent wheelchairs that can be delivered to the hotel prior to your arrival. Please contact the Concierge at 617-385-4500 for more information.
  • Does the Seaport Hotel offer babysitting services?

    The Seaport Hotel does not provide babysitting services however, we can provide you with information on local babysitting companies we trust. We also offer Seaport's First Mate's Club with activities and games for kids.
  • Do any Boston trolley tours stop close to the hotel? 

    Yes. You’ll find several Boston trolley tours and the Old Town Trolley right near the Seaport Hotel. You can be picked up right in our Seaport District neighborhood at the nearby Fish Pier.
  • Do you offer money exchange?

    Yes, the Seaport Hotel offers currency exchange for both Euros and Canadian Dollars in the lobby for the convenience of our international guests.
  • Is the hotel near public transportation?

    The MBTA Silver Line station is located on-site, adjacent to the hotel, and provides service from the WTC Station to Boston Logan International Airport terminals every 10 minutes during the weekday and every 15 minutes during the weekend.
  • What Is Boston like?

    Boston is a vibrant modern and historic city, with diverse neighborhoods, incredible attractions, museums, parks, shopping, food, and culture.  There is so much to enjoy in Boston, from the Seaport District to Freedom Trail to the Harborwalk.
  • Where is the best place to stay in Boston with kids?

  • Do you offer shuttle service to and from the Boston Logan International Airport?

    We do not offer shuttle service from Boston Logan
    International Airport, however, you MBTA Silver Line goes to Logan Airport and
    we have an on-site station.  Service is complimentary from the airport and
    it picks up at every terminal outside of baggage claim. Return service to the
    airport is available via the Silver Line as well. Please see the MBTA for

  • What has the Seaport Hotel done to support the community during the COVID-19 pandemic?

    The Seaport Hotel is offering its support to Partners HealthCare medical professionals by making hotel rooms available free of charge as they treat members of our community who have COVID-19.  In addition, the outbreak has brought an increase in food insecurity in Boston and the surrounding communities.  The Seaport Hotel team is collaborating with the Greater Boston Food Bank to create approximately 2,640 individual meals per week,  Tuesday - Friday, which are distributed to local residents.
