The Story
Christie and Eddie got engaged in the Seaport District. As they were basking in the glow and taking a "Post Yes" stroll through the Seaport District, they passed by the Seaport and saw the Lighthouse Ballroom, thinking how much they would love to have their wedding there. Flash Forward two years later, they made their dream wedding vision a reality, leaving no stone unturned in imagining every detail of their special day!
The Look
Classic romance with a modern twist on "Something Blue"
Long before blue was THE color of 2020, this couple was ahead of the trendy curve, pulling inspiration from the Agate rock slices that bring soothing energy, harmony and peace. What a perfect sentiment and style to capture for the wedding décor! This concept was directly translated on their invitations, signage, table numbers, menu card, place cards, and with slices as favors at each placesetting. Gorgeous Blue linen with Silver accents and ah-maz-ing florals complimented the look!
As the couple are self-proclaimed "club enthusiasts", music, dancing and a memorable "Glow Station" for the party portion of the night were all part of the vision. These touches really made the celebration signature to who they are as a couple and was embraced by everyone on their very packed dance floor! Our fabulous in-house LED Lighting transitioned from Dinner Elegance to the perfect purple party hue as the sun set and the night went on.

The Menu
Fabulous Seafood options were prominently featured as the couple wanted to play up the Seaport District Location! Reception selections included Tuna Tartare, Lobster Arancini and Chicken & Waffle Bites as a fun and whimsical comfort food selection! The Dinner Started with a Lobster Ravioli course and guests chose in advance between seasonal Short ribs or Chicken over Cauliflower "Risotto" For Dessert, our Package Partner Konditor Meister designed a cake to fit the agate rock theme featuring the couple's favorite, Carrot Cake, as well as signature Chocolate with Chocolate Mousse, and Vanilla with Vanilla Mousse. Cake was cut, enhanced with whipped cream and seasonal coulis, and put on a station so guests could enjoy at their leisure and pick their favorite flavor. As the party went on, Late Night Snack Selections were "Something Savory", our popular Sliders & French Fries, and "Something Sweet" our delicious warm Cinnamon Sugar Churros with a variety of dipping sauces!
