  • Does the Museum of Fine Arts offer free days?

    Admission to the Museum is free to all Massachusetts residents on the following days:

    • Monday, June 19, 2023 (Juneteenth)
    • Monday, October 9, 2023 (Indigenous Peoples’ Day)
    • Monday, January 15, 2024 (Martin Luther King Jr. Day)
    In addition, the Museum offers free and discounted tickets to US Active Duty Military and Veterans and Families, as well as college students and others - please visit their website for details.
  • Is there dining at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston?

    The MFA Boston offers diverse dining experiences including the Garden Cafeteria and 4 restaurants, including the Garden Cafeteria, Taste and New American Café. 
  • Does the Museum of Fine Arts offer pay-what-you-wish tickets?

    Enjoy $5 minimum, pay-what-you-wish tickets on the following days. Special exhibition tickets (general admission included) are available in advance online. General admission tickets are only available in person day of, starting at 5 pm.
