Closest to the city, Blue Hills Ski Area is less than a half-hour drive from the city's center. Its elevation of 635 feet offers 25-mile views with 16 trails and 4 lifts, as well as a small terrain park and night skiing.
Situated just over 30 miles outside of Boston, Nashoba Valley in Westford, MA is less than an hour from the city. With 100% of their 17 trails covered by snowmaking, plus the largest snow tubing park in New England, it's an ideal winter family destination, offering something for everyone.
North of Boston in Haverhill, Massachusetts, Bradford Ski Area is ideal for beginner skiers, with 15 trails and 9 active lifts. Thrill seekers may enjoy the state-of-the-art terrain park with jumps, rails and boxes.
Just over an hour outside of Boston, is Wachusett Mountain in Princeton, Massachusetts. It offers the most terrain in the area with a 1000 foot vertical drop, 27 trails and 8 lifts, 100 % snowmaking and night skiing. It also features two terrain parks with a jump line, rails, boxes, a wallride, rollers and jumps.
