The holiday break is great for spending time with friends and family. It's also a great time for children to learn some fun cooking skills and recipes. Each day, for three hours, children will take a nice hike on the farm (weather permitting) and then come into the kitchen to learn cooking basics. They'll enjoy hands-on cooking with a Powisset Cooks! Instructor and enjoy eating what they prepared with their fellow chefs.  Every day will be different, covering a range of cooking techniques and foods, including soups, salads, entrees, side dishes and of course… dessert. Sign up for one or more of the days being offered.

This drop-off program is designed for children ages 7-12; children aged 5 and 6 must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver who will participate in the class with their child. Class is limited to 10 students. Pre-registration is required. 

If a child has a food allergy, please contact [email protected] two days prior to the program. We will make our best efforts to accommodate but cannot guarantee. 

Powisset is not a nut-free or gluten-free kitchen. 

Registration is required 2 days prior to a class or event. If it is within 2 days and you wish to register, please email [email protected] or call 508.785.0339 to find out if there is space remaining.
