Wave Health & Fitness is Seaport's full-service health club. Whether you're looking to take a dip in our newly renovated pool, get a massage, or channel your inner Schwarzenegger at the free weights, Wave has it all. Since 2007, Fitness Manager Mariama Jordan has been responsible for the sculpted and toned results coming out of this state of the art facility. We caught up with Mariama to investigate how to stick to those pesky New Year's resolutions and keep fit in 2017. Herewith, Mariama's steps to a new you:
1. Set mini goals and be specific on a plan to execute them. Instead of just saying you want to lose weight, say you will lose five pounds and commit to going to the gym four times a week for 45 mins.
2. Chart your progress and celebrate your success. Take photos or measurements and treat yourself to a new workout top to help keep yourself motivated!
3. Be accountable. Sign up for classes in advance or find a workout buddy and plan to take classes and hit the gym together.
