I recently went to the Boston Lights: A Lantern Experience for the second year in a row. There are ample amounts of free parking, and tickets are reasonably priced at around $27. This is a great event for everyone! I find that families with children go in the earlier hours. Less children are there once the sun sets and it becomes more popular with adults and couples. The light displays are so fun and bright, they make for great photo ops! There were some stations set up through the park where you could buy souvenirs. I would definitely take advantage of this if you are looking for a fun activity while in Boston. It is open for only a few more days, until October 23rd. The Zoo is approximately 5 miles away from the Hotel, making it a doable adventure.
