Earth Day is EVERY day at Seaport!
We are thrilled to continually share our environmental efforts with our guests and clients. Today for Earth Day at Seaport, our guests will enjoy Honey Citrus Iced Tea, made with Seaport honey, and they'll receive a disk to plant which will bloom into wildflowers. Wildflowers are a terrific resource for bees, as they provide food in the form of nectar and pollen which will further support their colonies.
Take a few minutes and make our Honey Citrus Iced Tea at home - delicious and refreshing for the warm summer months ahead!
SEAPORT'S HONEY CITRUS ICED TEA
4 tea bags
2 cups boiling water
3 oranges
2 lemons
½ cup lemon juice
2 cups orange juice
3 tablespoons Seaport honey
4 cups ginger ale chilled
Ice cubes
Place tea bags in a teapot, add boiling water, cover, let steep for 4 minutes. Discard teabags, pour tea into pitcher.
Peel and section 2 oranges and 1 lemon, add to tea. Stir in the orange juice, lemon juice and honey, cover and refrigerate overnight.
Cut the remaining orange and lemon into slices and freeze.
Just before serving, strain and discard the fruit and stir in the ginger ale. Serve with frozen fruit slices and ice.
