The Seaport World Trade Center at 200 Seaport Blvd, Boston, will be abloom with beautiful ideas at the Boston Flower & Garden Show! Say goodbye to Winter and hello to Spring, Thursday-Sunday, Mar. 16-20, 2016. This year's theme is "Nurtured by Nature," and focuses on the ways well-designed landscapes give back by helping us connect to the natural world.
The Show touches on everything from houseplants to outdoor living spaces. Whether you live in a dense urban area or have more space in a suburban setting, you'll take away a lot from the Show. Participate in demonstrations from flower arranging to landscape design. You'll also want to check out the cooking demos—delicious and inspiring! What about learning more about urban beekeeping—how to do it and why it's important.
Be sure to take a look at the amazing creations of the amateur and professional floral design competitions, which reflect the theme of the Show. Taking photos and videos at the Show is encouraged because you'll see some really excellent ideas to try at home. Participants are also encouraged to share their videos and photos via social media. Tickets are $20 for adults, $17 for seniors (65+), and $10 for children ages 6-17. Take advantage of some savings when you purchase "Flower Show After Dark" tickets for $15, after 5PM at the box office onsite.
