Summer is in full swing at Seaport with so many exciting things going on. Here are a few of our favorite things to do this week.
For family friendly fun double team The Boston Children's Museum and the brand new Martin's Park adjacent to the museum on Fort Point Channel. The Children's Museum is an absolute must for kids and parents with great kid-friendly exhibits to help them learn about science, the arts and more in an engaging and fun environment. Visit www.bostonchildrensmuseum.org to learn more.
The newly opened Martin's Park, a fully accessible playground for kids and families overlooking downtown Boston and Fort Point Channel. Open space and interactive play spaces opened. Martin's Park is dedicated to Martin Richards, the youngest victim of the Boston Marathon bombing and is a wonderful testament to Martin, his family and the people of Boston.
Looking for some music? Check out Shawn Mendes at the TD Garden (a short walk or cab ride away!) on Thursday or Friday, August 15th and 16th at 7:30 pm.
Sun's Out! Fun's Out! And so is lots of great food and drink. When you're out for the day or night in the Seaport District, be sure to stop by our very own TAMO Terrace at the Seaport Hotel for al fresco drinks and dining and live music on Wednesday nights. Try some Seaport breezy tropical drinks and tempting bites. Of course there are plenty of places to dine in the Seaport District – check out the new fast casual restaurant GRECO. If your jonesing for a gyro this is your place. www.grecoboston.com And even if it's not Tuesday, you've got to get your taco fill at a new Seaport favorite, Bar Taco. Nothing say summer like feshly made guacamole, great tacos and a margarita. www.bartaco.com
