As if we needed more reasons to pop into the Pru’s new Eataly, local celeb chef Michael Schlow has opened a pop-up restaurant in the 45,000-square foot food emporium. Via Emilia will operate from La Piazza for the next two months and feature dishes common to the northern Italian region of Emilia-Romagna. Look for antipasti and entrees featuring the region’s staple ingredients like prosciutto di Parma and Parmigiano reggiano. For those of you still mourning the loss of Schlow’s downtown institution Via Matta (closed in 2015), the pop-up will feature the shuttered institution’s tagliatelle Bolognese. Delizioso!
