Seaport Spotlight: Chickadee

If you're utilizing our on-site MBTA World Trade Center Silver Line stop just to head downtown, you're missing out on some of the best hidden treats in town! Boston's Flynn Industrial Complex on the Seaport's eastern edge is quickly becoming the city's latest hub of tech and life science. With all the new workers, a string of restaurants are opening to feed the new stream of daily traffic. This summer brought the arrival of Chickadee in the Innovation and Design Building. This creation from a pair of No. 9 Park alums is the first full-service restaurant in the building and offers lunch and dinner.

Chef John DaSilva and Ted Kilpatrick met while working at famed local chef Barbara Lynch's No. 9 Park before going their separate ways - notching critical acclaim in the process, our friends at Boston Magazine report. They've signed a mix of Boston and out-of-town for their new spot, which offers Mediterranean snacks, hearty entrees like roasted duck, and a delicious cocktail program. Be sure to save enough room (and time) to make the last Silver Line back to the hotel and enjoy a nightcap with us at our own TAMO.
