The thirteenth in a series of posts from Seaport’s wedding and social event expert, Leah Malin
One of the most stressful parts of any events is designing a realistic timeline. The best definition of this? One that accounts for everything that is scheduled with just enough extra built in so that you are covered for an unexpected lipstick stain on your gown, but not so much that you are going for 24 hours straight!
Bridalguide.com has a great resource to use as a jumping off point to customize your day, your way, as we like to say here at Seaport!
As with everything wedding related, this is not a one-size fits all time line. Be sure to streamline based on what you are doing. A bride that is going ultra-glam with a wedding-day mani and individually applied lashes will need to account for different time than a more ethereal bride working with just some highlighter and gloss! Whatever you prep time, your wedding consultant or planner can guide you to how to make this all flow into your exact timeline so you can relax and enjoy every moment!
